WHSB Royal Navy Section represents CCFs nationwide at the Trafalgar Parade

Our CCF Royal Navy Section has, once again, been selected to represent the Royal Navy as cadets in the Trafalgar Day Parade in London this weekend. They have been training for this prestigious event with support from the Royal Navy and will be parading in special, formal uniforms. This is a great honour for the cadets and volunteers, who are the only CCF cadet unit in the country to have been selected; we are proud of them all.

Well done to the cadets and volunteers, and our special thanks go to Mr Hadley, who leads the Royal Navy Section, Mr Sell (Volunteer), Mr Baggs (Contingent Commander, WHSB CCF), and all the CCF staff volunteers who devote so much time and energy towards making these wonderful opportunities possible for our pupils. We wish them well for the parade on Sunday.

TRAFALGAR DAY is the celebration of the victory won by the Royal Navy, commanded by Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson, over the combined French and Spanish fleets at the Battle of Trafalgar on 21 October 1805.
