Westcliff High School for Boys Welcomes Four Inspirational Women at Careers Event

WHSB Welcomes Four Inspirational Women at Careers Event

In celebration of International Women's Day, National Careers Week and British Science Week, Westcliff High School for Boys was delighted to welcome four outstanding and inspirational women as guest speakers for its Careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) evening. The speakers represented a range of careers from Medicine and Technology to Engineering, and shared their experiences of routes into those careers, including degree apprenticeships. Each speaker was an expert in their field and our audience found the details of their experiences and achievements, often gained through challenge and adversity, both engaging and informative. Students and parents from all Year groups at WHSB, and from other schools in the wider community, were invited to attend this free event.
