Congratulations to James (Year 9) for his outstanding achievement in winning six gold medals at the Southend Music Festival. James won three for singing, two for the trumpet, and one for the piano.

We are proud that he was asked to perform at the Prize Winners Concert and was awarded the trophy for the most promising brass player in the Festival.

The Town’s Mayor, Councillor Nigel Folkard, attended the presentation and James is pictured holding five of his trophies. This is a remarkable outcome, and we are delighted to celebrate James’ success.
