This term got off to a wonderful musical start with the Summer Chamber Recital, featuring WHSB’s most talented solo and ensemble musicians, showcasing talent from those in the Lower School all the way to those performing their swansong in the Upper Sixth. Our musicians, including gifted pianists and vocalists, the String Ensemble and Horn Group, performed various well-known works ranging in style and including Rock, Pop, Classical, Musical Theatre, Film Scores, and more. The evening provided those students who regularly perform in our concert programme, and who will be leaving the School this summer after their A Level examinations, with the opportunity to display their talent one last time in a School Chamber Concert. As a School Community, we wish them well and congratulate all our musicians on an excellent evening's entertainment.

For more musical enjoyment, you can join the Westcliff Sinfonia on 26 June for an orchestral celebration of all things Musical Theatre. Audience members will be treated to an evening of dramatic music, showcasing the variety of styles and emotions composers of Musical Theatre have to offer.
